Project Issues: 1. The waterline on thc east/west portion of Coppell Road is currently under construction from SI! 121 to the Callejo property line. This activity should be completed by the first week of November. 2. Ed Bell would like to start the storm sewer next. Traffic and phasing options were discussed. Flag~nen would cost the city approximately $5~000. A traffic plma will have to be proposed for this work. Ed Bell would like to maintain one-lane, one-way, but two-l~mc traffic is possible. Bell feels comfortable with making 18 V2' section a temporary two-way situation, since the City of Dallas mini mum is 9'. In order to utilize the existing roadway in construction, a detour would have to be constructed at a considerable cost. 3. November 9'h is thc next council date. Due to the holidays, only two more council meetings will be held in 1999. All traffic control plans involving closm'e of may lanes of traffic must go through council review and approval process. 4. *The City needs plans marl cl':oxification on pha.sing and traffic control. One-way traffic is safer than two-way on the 18 V~' lanes, The current traffic volume is balanced in each direction. IFREESE AND NICHOLS · 13.'11 W.
