Engineering and Public Works City of Coppell 255 Parkway Blvd. Coppell, Texas 75019-4409 Re: Coppell Road Reconstruction SH 121 to Sandy Lake Road Coppell Project #: ST 98-01 Dear Mr. Griffin: Design changes at the Mansion's driveway required that the driveway be constructed larger than the graphic representation on the plans. The original plans indicate that the size of the driveway should have been 216.77 SY. The actual size of the driveway is 247.57 SY which represents a 14.21% increase in the size of the driveway. The size increase was directed by the City to flatten the slope of the driveway. Since this driveway was paid utilizing a lump sum item, the price for the driveway should be adjusted to compensate for the larger size of the driveway.
