He is attending the International Transportation Summit in Irving this week, but is answering email as much as the summit schedule allows. His direct contact number is 972-304-3562 if you want to leave him a voice message also. I am the Branch Manager at Uline at 980 W. Bethel. We have had ongoing issues with traffic flow in and out of our facility since moving in 2 years ago. With the new Amazon facility going up next door, the issues have grown exponentially worse. Egress and ingress are a real problem. My question is...has a recent traffic study been completed to review the congestion issues that will occur when Amazon opens for business? I found the traffic count data on your website attached below. It appears the last study was done in 2011 which was prior to the Uline or Amazon operations on Bethel Rd. I understand that Amazon will employee over 1,200 employees (as high as 2,000) and will be receiving trucks 24 hours per day. This combined with our 300 employees and 24 hour operation I am growing increasingly concerned about the safety of our employees. Particularly the areas where we are mixing car/pedestrian traffic with semi trucks. I look forward to your reply. Jim Henegar Uline Shipping Supplies 469.549.4721 1 2
