Abandonment of Ground Storage Tank at West Service
Center
According to the Texas Water Commission, there is two ways to
abandon this tank. One is to fill it with either cement or sand
or two, remove the tank completely from the site. In order to
utilize the cheapest method (fill with sand), ! believe we will
be required to request DFW Airport's approval in accordance to
the agreement of use for that property.
Determining what method will be acceptable will be about half
the project.
