Dear Ms. Timmons,
Per our meeting of 23 February 1994, please accept the attached proposal with
Statement of Qualifications as our interest in working with you and the City of Coppell on
the above referenced project and within the capacity stated.
We would ask that the attached scope of work and proposal be considered as a step
one in addressing the concern voiced in our meeting and are optimistic that these steps will
be sufficient. However, should additional steps become necessary, we will prepare a
proposal with additional scope of work for your approval and signature prior to
commencement of additional testing.

For a building of this size, we would anticipate utilizing six sampling locations and have
based this proposal accordingly.
I. An additional meeting to establish an overview of complaints and concerns about
the building with a review of historical information.
II. A complete visual inspection of the building to observe carpeting, ceiling, walls,
vents, etc. that may indicate problems within the building.
III. Inspection of HVAC System including a review of past maintenance records.
The above steps are not based on time, but, we generally need approximately 6-8 hours to
complete this portion.

IV. Testing of airborne molds (by Anderson Impactor)
carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and formaldehyde
(by Draeger tubes)

of materials for the presence of asbestos, site evaluation and analysis, consultation and monitoring
of the air for and during the abatement (removal) of asbestos.

Program Approach Strategy
Upon receipt of Notice to Proceed, The Araya Group (TAG) will immediately assign the
project a full time representative or as needed to your project. Work with you in what ever
capacity required to ensure the project is undertaken without any abnormal delays. An AIHA
Approved Quality Assurance program will be utilized to review all work and ensure the quality of
our work and works of others.
It should be noted that the project representative is an environmental specialist. Other
members of our staff are available to provide services as needed on your project(s).
