RE: Municipal Fire Station No. 3, Civil Construction Plans
Dear Mr. Miles, _ .
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
1. Provide a title sheet with the name of the development and the legal description of the property.
Also include an index of sheets, vicinity map, the name and address of the developer and the
engineer. ~
2. Provide a copy of the final plat.
3. Locate the proposed sidewalk on Parkway Blvd & Town Center'~ 1~ off the property line.
4. Provide 8' wide brick paver band for driveway located at the northeast coruer of the development.
5. Provide 30' radius for fire truck driveway as indicated on Sheet C1-B.
6. Provide detail for proposed button layout for median on Town Center Blvd.
7. Benchmark #2 shown on C2-B is no longer valid. Do not use. Also no elevation is provided for
Benchmark #1.
8. One joint of Class IV 21" RCP has been provided at the existing drop inlet. Need to verify the
flowline of the pipe.
9. Show the location of the proposed 8" waterline on Sheet C2-B.
10. Provide a note indicating that an existing GTE and fiber optic conduct is located on the north side
of the site adjacent to Parkway Blvd.
11. There is an existing 2" water tap provided at north end of the site.
12. The depth of the existing waterline on the eastside needs to be verified to insure adequate cover of
42" is met.
13. Provide an erosion control sheet showing the location of silt fences and a stabilized construction
entrance.
14. A double check, detector check vault needs to be provided for the fireline into the building. The
proposed domestic and irrigation meters need to be located on the upstream side of the water vault.
Also the meters and vault need to be located outside the pavement.
15. There is an existing sprinkler system along the east side of the property. Please contact Dennis
Slayton, Leisure Services Superintendent at 304-3554 regarding location.
There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been addressed,
the marked up plans along with two revised sets of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If
