FINIS
Keith, Rhonda,
I got home last night and the sidewalk has now been redone...new cement was poured where the grafetti was and the
part that had been dug out but never filled in is now done....
The stakes are still up, which I understand....when will those be taken down?
Thank you.

Ms. Van Deusen,
We met with the contractor yesterday. We expressed our frustration with their work activity, and our embarrassment
at their representation of us.
I let them know that before they do anything else they need to finish the work in front of your home, including removal
of the portion with graffiti.
We are curently fighting the weather, but I hope to have this work done by the end of the week.
Thank you for your patience.
Keith

Rhonda,
I heard from Keith yesterday....he stated he would be calling me back after he spoke with the contractors.
Keith,
I looked back at my email to find out when the contractors actually started the work on my sidewalk..it was the first
week of APRIL...they came and put up stakes, removed the old sidewalk, dug out the dirt and put down boards to pour
the cement....they came back the second week of April and poured the cement in part of the sidewalk...basically what
you saw the day you came out is the way it was been FOR OVER SIX WEEKS..
Do you think I have patient enough??????
If you cannot get this resolved, I am going to hire a private person to finish this and bill the City for it.....
Please let me know by the end of the week...if I don't hear from you by then, I WILL HIRE AND BILL THE WORK DONE TO
THE CITY.

Ms. Vandeusen, I know you are very frustrated and I assure you we have not forgotten you. Your email from Monday
was forwarded to our Project Engineer, Keith Marvin. He went to your location and several others yesterday, and based
on his observations, City Engineering staff is meeting with the contractor today to determine what is causing delays in
their work schedule.
I encouraged him to contact you personally after the meeting with any info he has on the completion of your sidewalk
repair.
My apologies for the delay,
Rhonda
