At the limestone sills under the window units at the second floor the underside edge at the drip edge needs to be cleaned of excess mortar. As a typical note there.are numerous cracks visible in the wood cornice area. The General Contractor also needs to insure that the backside of all wood cornice material has been properly primed. Refer to previous field reports which indicate that on both the north and west sides of the building the backsides of the wood cornice were nOt primed prior to installation. These columns also need to be cleaned thoroughly to remove any stains which occurred during their storage on the job site and during transit to the job site. <&st ot~ ~ =-~ also at - "n ..... - The wood storefront in this area has only been prime painted but' prior to receiving final painting numerous areas need to be caulked especially the joint between the brick and wood storefront and also all dings, nicks, chips, etc. need to be repaired and this entire unit needs to be sanded. This is a typical note for both sides of the building and also refers to the panelized window above each main entry. The construction on these wooden units is not of good quality and much remedial work will be required to make these acceptable. At main entry doors adjust threshold. ~ 10. At the main entry area the concrete stairs show that they have been chipped, nicked and patched in numerous areas. Refer to previous field reports of some.eight months ago when the General Contractor was advised that these concrete steps'in the main landing in front of the building should be protected and not used as a storage area for steel products. It is requested that the Owner review this installation as to it's acceptability. The General Contractor has much remedial work to make this item acceptable. 13. At the wood cornice area all inside and outside corner joints need to be caulked and any damage or split wood needs to be removed and re~laced. 15. At main entry area install graphics once they arrive on site. 16. During the cleaning of all limestone insure that the joints between limestone pieces are thoroughly cleaned and also any mortar which has smeared over on the face of limestone pieces is thoroughly cleaned or this will'cause a very spotty appearance during the weathering process at the main entry area west end approximately 16' above finish floor the mortar joint color appears to be- inconsistent and needs to be redone. The General Contractor needs to insure that when pointing up the brick joints that the color of mortar matches the surrounding mortar joints in color. WEST SIDE OF THE BUILDING 3, All notes on the north side of the building appear valid for this area. Also especially the splotchiness in the roofing color, the cleaning of all limestone, pointing up of all brick and the caulk!~ng ........ items. Complete the installatiOn of brick and provide the manufacturers~~.~--~ recommended escutcheon around the roof drain drip flanges. At the joint between the sidewalk and brick wall and/or limestone sills insure that the form lumber which has been used is recessed and that this joint is caulked. Also at the ends of each sill the concrete and wood which is exposed needs to be removed and a smoothed concrete surface needs to be installed in this 3 x 3 void area. 4.? At exterior door No. 6 the threshold is approximately 3" above the exterior sidewalk. This is not in compliance with the handicapped code and. the General Contractor is requested to rev. iew the value engineering notes which call for a ramp near ~this area. Be The General Contractor should refer to previous field reports ~_-~=-~ when discussions were held on the wood,cornice area and insure that all wood cornice both exposed and hidden from view has been prime painted properly. This is another area where it was noted that this had not occurred. 0 There are still numerous areas where the wood cornice appears to have split, especially near the interior and exterior corners. As a typical note, this elevation also has problems with the metal flashing at the roof line which need to be corrected by the General Contractor. Reprime and paint Door No. 6 along with steel brick shelf above this door location. The General Contractor should refer to Detail 1.103 which is a typical detail of how to'treat the wood or fiberous joints which are located within the sidewalk or at the sidewalk building joint. This typically has not been done around the building. SOUTH ELEVATION The limestone header above the-window unit at the second floor is not consistent between the north and south elevation. This item has been discussed with the General Contractor on numerous occasions and remedial work still is required to insure that these areas are consistent with each other. me All general notes from the north side of the building apply. The main entry doors have not been painted nor has the panelized window unit at the second floor which is outside of the City Manager's office.. There is much work that needs to be accomplished on both these wooden units to make them acceptable. Numerous areas of caulking around these wooden units will be needed prior'to final acceptance. Point up all brick, especially around the main entry. ~ The metal flashing at the roof area is very wavy and particularly over the main entry 'area a large gap exists between the wood and metal flashing. The metal flashing and head cornice work above the main entry on the south side of the building is not acceptable. The IVP roofing work on the south side of the buildi§~'is extremely blotchy and as stated earlier the General ContractoF'has been previously advised of this and remedial action will be required. Also the ridge tiles do not extend far enough over the edge at the outside corners to protect this work. There appears to be much remedial work required to make the roofing and metal flashing acceptable. Repair or replace all damaged or stained limestone. The ridge tiles of the IVP roof should align with the outside corners of the wood cornice and metal roof flashing and should not be offset as seen during this inspection up to 3". Insure that all exterior doors have been caulked between door frame and surrounding masonry. It appears that most doors need to be adjusted with regard to the thresholds and weather stripping~ and also the exterior doors need to be painted. Clean all granite surfaces_.--_~ Point up all brick.o~ ~ (/ As a typical note there are numerous chipped brick on this elevation which will need replacing. At the wood cornice work the joints are very pronounced between assembly pieces. Remedial work Will need to be accomplished to make these acceptable. At Door No.3 install strike plate. At Door 13 adjustment is needed to threshold and strikeplate. At Door 13 install strikeplate and adjust threshold. light mixture. 20. 21. There is still much remedial work that needs to be done. With regard to the metal flashings at the roof area especially the metal flashings exPosed near the wood cornice area. Rework carpet along north wall to eliminate gap between carpet and vinyl base. 12. Repaint wood trim at window sills. 13. Level all window sills. 14. The coating in the glass along the south wall appears to .be defective. There are numerous pinholes and scratches. This glass will need to be replaced and this is a typical note. 15. Typical note, a separate punch list will be prepared for the condition of the glazing. It is quite noticeable in this room that there are numerous panes of glass which will need to be replaced. CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE - 201 1. Sand and repaint panelized window unit to exterior. 2. Rework gypsum drywall return near this window unit. 3. Rework ceiling grid to create an aligning pattern so as not to be offset at the light locations toward the south end of the room. Rework carpet at Raco glass wall on the north side of room. Rework joint between Raco top track and ceiling grid at east and west wallS'. Rework ceiling grid entirely in this room to eliminate gapping between grid pieces. Replace damaged ceiling tile. The sprinkler head cover should fit snugly to ceiling tile. A thorough cleanup of this area is required. From this room looking to the north at the railing area where the railing terminates into the drywall column typically, these need to be reworked and are presently unacceptable. The General Contractor needs to rework the slot diffuser over the panelized window unit along the south wall. Snug up trim rings for downlights to ceiling tile. e e 8. 9. 11. 12. 13. The carpeting needs to be reworked aroundlthe perimeter of room to eliminate gapping and the rolling effect of the floor which is apparent between the carpet and vinyl base and also at the Raco system. 14. The joints at the sill of the Raco system along the north wall behind Door 81 have gotten very wide and are unacceptable. OFFICE AREA IMMEDIATELY WEST OF THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE 1. Replace damaged ceiling tile. 2. Align Raco top track along east wall. 3. Repair j~ints and inside corners at vinyl base along south wall. 4. Replace dings and defects in gypsum drywall alOng south wall~ 5. Rework joint .between gypsum drywall ceiling between columns and ceiling grid to create a smooth transition. 6. This area typically needs to be repainted with regard to the gypsum drywall. 7. Align ceiling grid. 8. Rework carpet at base and complete the installation of vinyl base at the northeast corner of room near decorative column. MECHANICAL ROOM - 206 1. Refer to mechanical room 207, same notes apply. 2. Paint Doors 84 and 85 and complete their installation. VAULT AREA - 205 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Drywall is to extend to deck and is to be sealed at base. Repair gouges in drywall ceiling area. Remove excess glue from concrete floor and seal as required. ~ns-t~tt entry, door to this room. A thorough cleanup is required in this area. The wood trim board which has been installed in the northwest corner is not indicated on the plans and the General Contractor needs to explain the situation with regard to this. 7. All walls need to be repainted due to numerous stains and gouges. CENTRAL FILING - 209 1, Replace damaged ceiling tile. 2. Set sprinkler heads flush with ceiling tile. 3. Rework ceiling grid so it is level and the main tees are aligned. Rework joint between perimeter suspended acoustical ceiling grid and gypsum drywall ceiling between columns to create a flush appearance. The joint which is present now is totally unacceptable and is out of line. Much rework will be required to make this an acceptable installation especially since the General Contractor has gone ahead and doubled up on the perimeter angle thus making this mistake very noticeable. Be Complete the installation of electrical outlet covers and rework drywall around outlets. Level wood sill at window unit along south wall. It is approximately 1/2" off end to end. 7. At wood sill rounded ends should be provided. Electrical outlets in columns along east side of room are to be centered in columns. All columns around the atrium area need to be repainted. The touchup which has been accomplished does not appear to be satisfactory on the column nor the overhead. 10. Sand and repaint wood base around banister unit to smoothly roll through joints without accentuating them. 11. A general cleanup is required in this area. 12. There are numerous stains in the carpet especially outside of the conference room near Door 89. 13. The typical carpet problems exist with regard to gaps being apparent between the carpet and vinyl base at walls. 14. ReWOrk dryWall around electrical outlets. 15. Remove paint from all door hardware. This is a typical note. 16. Rework drywall at Raco top track trim. There are problems with this particularly over Door 99. 17. Adjust closers on Door 99. 18. 19. 20. Rework wood base around atrium area as it appears to ~ary in height. It appears that the ga~ between the upper wood cap at the wood base and the reveal section varies as much as 1/2" in an 8' run. This problem needs to be resolved to make this work acceptable. At the pickled oak railing between column and the atrium where the railing terminates to each column the drywall enclosure needs to be reworked and repainted to make it acceptable. It appears that the perimeter ceiling grid is.not level and gapping as much as 1/4" to 3/8" as present. This may also be a problem caused by warping ceiling tile and this needs to ~erified with the General Contractor. 21. Set all sprinkler heads flush with ceiling. 22. The carpeting needs to be reworked near the northeast coKner of this room. It is apparent that it is installed incorrectly and some bagging has occurred in it's installation. 23. The seams in the carpet joints need to be reworked to make them' acceptable. 24. There are numerous stains in the carpet which need to be removed. 25. The entry doors to this area located at the northeast corner of the room may need to be replaced due to the numerous scratches, chips and dings and for sure they need to be repainted. CORRIDOR - 224 1. Properly set all sprinkler heads at ceiling. 2. Paint ceiling. Repair drywall joint condition between drywall ceiling and walls and also above Raco top track. 4. Repaint all walls. 5. Properly trim out around water cooler. 6. Repair water cooler, it is leaking. 7. Complete the installation of all electrical switches. At the cased opening between the lobby and this corridor prepare door frame and rebuild as required. The door frame has numerous gouges and at the mitered corners they do not lay flush and flat. Also at the head condition the wood used for the head of the door has been cracked and should be replaced. The carpet seaming needs to be reworked..The vinyl base installation is unacceptable and is of poor quality. Generally, a thor.ough cleanup of this area is required along with quite a bit of remedial work to make this an acceptable area. VESTIBULE - 223 1. Set downlight trim rings flush with ceiling. Repaint all walls in this area. Follow-all typical notes as noted in Area 224. JANITOR'S AREA - 225 1. .Seal joint between gypsum drywall and concrete floor. 2. A thorough cleanup of this area is required. .Remove all tape, bed and paint from door hardware, sink, smoke detector, light fixtures, etc. 4. Install hardware for Door 100. The plastic veneer facing on this door has been scratched and i~ some instances has been stained. This needs to be reviewed with the General Contractor and corrective'action taken. 6. The drain piping for the Janitor's sink has begun rusting. e Provide sealer to concrete floor. The walls and ceiling' need to be painted as called for in the room finish schedule. This area will need to be repunched when the General Contractor has completed all remedial actions. WOMEN'S RESTROOM - 221 Plastic vanity countertop is loose and is not properly supported at west wall. This wall will need to be taken apart and the proper steel supports added to secure this in position. Properly trim out around parabolic light diffuser at ceiling above mirror. 3. The vinyl wallcovering installation needs much repair especially at joint conditions. At vinyl wallcovering on patterned wall the ...... pattern between joints does not align'and needs to be redone. 4. A thorough cleanup of this area Will be required. The location of clean outs in the west wall nearest the vanity does not appear to be acceptable nor does it show this on the plans to be located here. 8. 9. 10.' tl. 12. 13. 14, 1~, 16. 17. 18. 19. 20. 21. 23. Complete the installation of all hardware for Door 101. Screws are missing from the pushplate. No doorstop has been provided at Door 101. Repaint ceiling. Flush up all sprinkler heads with ceiling. All light fixture trim rings are to sit flush with the ceiling. Repair drywall around downlights. The vinyl wallcovering in the restroom is marred and damaged in numerous locations and will need much corrective action. There appears to be a bow in the ceiling along the east wall at the light trough area. This needs-to be resolved. Complete the installation of sprinkler head covers. Rework the ceramic floor tile around the floor drain. It appears that the floor drain sits up higher than the surrounding floor ara thus preventing proper drainage. There is a wave in the ceramic tile base at the floor area west wall. Also the grouting of all ceramic tile is of poor quality and needs to be'redone. There are areas where gapping exists between the ceramic tile and vinyl wallcovering. All ceramic tile needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Under the vanity area complete the installation of wallcovering. The plastic laminate countertop has been stained and needs to be repaired. The General Contractor should verify that the mounting location of the paper towel dispenser meets the handicapped code and is as shown in the plans. At the toilet partitions the base trim needs to be secured. The metal toilet partitions show numerous, scr_a~ches which need to be repaired especially in the handicapped stall. As a typical note for all restrooms, the plumbing piping is not properly secured and the flush valves move easily. This was previously brought to the attention of the General Contmactor to have remedial work completed. 24. The location of the water closet and handicapped stall was set at 16" from the south toilet partition when it should have been set 18". This item will have to be moved to be in compliance with the handicapped code and in .compliance with the plans, Plan 1301. 25. It should be noted that the dimensioning at the offset due north of the vanity and the thickness of the dimising wall between the vanity area and toilet stalls is not. in compliance with the plans. The overall dimension for these two items should be 1'-10" and is presently 1'-6". 26. Once again, there is much rework that needs to be accomplished in this restroom and a~repunch will be accomplished once the General Contractor makes significant progress. MEN'S RESTROOM - 222 On the east wall the paper towel dispenser is set apprOximately 10" too high. 2. A general cleanup of this area will be required. Numerous areas where tile needs to be reworked were noted especially around the base condition and the wing wall between the vanity counter and entry door. The vinyl wallcovering needs much cleaning to remove stains. Complete the installation of ceramic tile base adjacent to Door 102. e Complete the installation of all hardware. Properly align and square up return air grill located due west of entry door. 8. Properly trim out around parabolic light trough at west wall. 9. Repaint ceiling. 10. Complete the installation of sprinkler heads. 11. 12. Repair drywall and flush up downlight trim rings. Square up ceiling air conditioning diffuser over vanity area. 13. 14. Paint access hatch and ceiling northeast corner of room.- A thorough cleanup is required in this area. 15. .Complete the installation of wallcovering under vanity. 16. There appears a roll in the floor under the urinals and this has thrown off the joint pattern significantly. This area needs to be reworked. 17. On the west wall the location of the urinals is incorrect. The far south urinal is located too close to the wall and the north most urinal has not been properly located. 18. The flush valve tie-in assemblies are crooked and loose and remedial work needs to be accomplished. 19. The location of the hendicapped toilet is incorrect. It is to be located 18" from the south toilet partition and is only 15". This will need to be removed and reinstalled in it's proper location. 20. All toilet partitions need to be cleaned up and repaired as necessary. There are numerous scratches which need to be taken care of. 21. 21. Once again this room has numerous problems which need remedial action by the General Contractor and a complete punch list will be prepared once this area becomes substantially complete. Typical note for both restrooms - Complete the installation and termination of 'carpet at both restrooms. LOBBY AREA - 226 Replace damaged and stained ceiling tiles. Insure layout of all downlights adn 2 x 2 florescent fixtures as per plans. 3. Rework drywall around all electrical outlets. 4. Rework all carpeting seams. Be At the northeast corner of this area and northwest corner of this area there appears there is roll in the floor which needs to be floated out. The wood used to case the opening into Corridor 224 needs'much remedial work and is presently of poor quality with numerous dings, chips and split wood pieces. At landing of grand stair area the floor slab slopes up approximately 1/2" from the main landing to the first stair tread which could be.m- a point of problems later on and possible liability by the City. The General Contractor should remove the carpet and float out this area so as not to have a very abrupt slope. Be Properly install the Raco trim track so no gaps exist between the drywall and trim. 9. Properly install the slot diffusers along the north wall. 10. Much rework will.'be required to the panelized window unit on the north wall and a final coat of paint needs to be provided. 11. Plushup all sprinkler heads with ceiling tile. 12. Complete the installation of light fixtures to' eliminate the painting. 13. Repaint all doors which enter onto this area. They are all marred and scratched. 14. The decorative wood trim around all doors needs much rework especially at themitered joints and/or edges at the door casing around Door 99, north side. This style needs to be replaced as it was milled incorrectly. 15. Repaint door and frame for elevator. 16. Rework carpet seaming as pattern does not' align outside of Door 99. Once again at the wood base around the grand stair area it appears that there is a variation in the height of the base and also of the width and depth of the reveal. This reveal width needs to.be consistent and the wood base needs to be set level to make it acceptable. 17. The newal caps all need to have remedial work done to them and need to be repainted at the joint between the drywall soffit and the suspended acoustical ceiling~ The transition needs to be reworked and the ceiling grid layout needs to be redone to eliminate the small spliced piece of tile. The layout of this ceiling is not per plan.' As near as I can tell, the plan was to have started the installation from the north wall leaving a spacer tile of approximately 6" at the connection between the gyp board soffit and ceiling tile connection. 18. It appears that there is a roll in the ceiling directly above the grand stair to the west side. 19. At the gypsum drywall sill there is a bow which is very noticeable ~he end-conditions indicate an 8" height above finish floor yet in some instances more toward the center of this window unit this dimension gets down to 7" and is very noticeable. 20. The handrail connection to the newal post needs to be redone as this is an unacceptable finishing technique. 21. 22. All wood base, ballisters.and connection and spliced pieces need to be sanded and repainted to create a smooth, uniform appearance.. At the column enclosure located at grid G-6 the base is not square and is not true. ELEVATOR This item will be punched in the presence of the Owner because at that time the Owner will have to sign off on acceptance. The General Contractor should make arrangements with the Owner to visit the site to review this ite~. FINANCE DEPARTMENT There is a significant roll along the north wall at the northeast corner. The roll on the floor is approximately 1" in height. This area needs to be floated out level. Carpet rework needs to be accomplished at all seams. West wall'the carpet has been cut too short and the vinyl base does not cover. The vinyl base installation has numerous gaps 'between the joints of the vinyl. 4. There are marks and stains on the wall which need to be touched up. 5. It appears that there is roll in the ceiling along the south wall. 6. Complete the installation of sprinkler heads. 7. Replace damaged ceiling tile. 8. Seal joint between gypsum drywall and perimeter ceiling grid. 9. Rework joint between drywall return and aluminum window frame. 10. At Door 43 the door has numerous marrs in it which need to be repaired and this door needs to be repainted. 11. 12. 13. Complete the installation of hardware. Rework drywall around door frame. Rework door frame to eliminate gouges and nicks and also reworks45© miters. 14. Rework and sand smooth the wood panelized window units at the pay counter, much rework is needed to make this item acceptable. 15. 16. 17. 18. 19. 20. Rework drywall around electrical outlets. Repair drywall around all door openings. A thorough cleanup of this item is required. Sand smooth and repaint cabinet doors where thin coating debris has mixed with the painted surface. Clean up and repaint the interior of the cabinets. Complete the carpet installation in the void area that exists between the east/west cabinet-and the main north/south counter. VAULT -126 1. Install entry doorX Ceiling in this area gets painted white not gray. Repair defects in gypsum drywall and repaint around dOor frame. 4. Clean vinyl floor tile which has been stained. There is a significant roll in the floor in the area of the entry door which needs to be addressed and resolved. 6. Snug up the sprinkler head cover to the ceiling. CORRIDOR - 119 1. Replace damaged ceiling tile. 2. Complete the sprinkler head installation. Seal joint between drywall and perimeter ceiling grid. Once again the carpet has been cut too short and a gap exists between the drywall and carpet. Touchup walls. Vinyl base needs to be installed correctly. Presently it is very wavy. ---- The touchup painting which has been accomplished 'in this corridor is unacceptable because the touchup paint used is significantly lighter than the balance of the wall. It appears that the corridor will need to be repainted in it's entirity. A thorough cleaning of this space and all door frames and doors will be required. 10. 11. The terrazzo floor needs to be cleaned and properly sealed prior to final acceptance by Owner. 12. The carpet joint between the carpeting and.the terrazzo floor is unacceptable. It is very rough and wavy and there is differences in the elevations which causes a stumbling block which could be potentially dangerous. Basically the carpeting on the first floor area, the installation to date is. unacceptable especially around the terrazzo. There is variatiOn in the terrazzo floor darker colors and it. appears that in some instances near the column locations the terrazzo is not ground down sufficiently or it was a problem with the mix which has created some very visible light spots. Also at the corner joint adjacent to the stairs it appears that the terrazzo subcontractor did not fully carry his screeds to a termination point, thus allowing for a ragged corner at the northeast corner of the light terrazzo area. From the main lobby area you can see. numerous ballisters which are split and need remedial action. 13.. Rework drywall around the electrical lights at columns. 14. This area needs much rework with regard to the drywall, millwork, and terrazzo and carpeting prior to final acceptance. An additional punch list will be done of this area once the General Contractor has made sufficient progress to justify same. OUTSIDE OF THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT 1. Rework jointing at millwork and repaint. There appears to be scratches in the formica countertop and this needs to be cleaned and inspected prior to acceptance. 6. 7. 8. The installation of the panelized wood windows at the pay counters needs to be reworked. The jointery is of poor quality. The location of the downlights is not centered in the soffit as required. These will need to be relocated. Replace damaged ceiling tile. Complete the installation of sprinkler trim rings. Rework all woodwork as the splicing in the woodwork is very visible. Rework carpet seaming so pinned out pattern aligns. At the southeast corner the drywall needs to be reworked and this area repainted. 10. The joint between the suspended acoustical ceiling and the drywall soffit between columns is unacceptable and needs to be redone. PUBLIC LOUNGE ~ 180 1. Complete the installation of wood base. The wood base and crown mold which has been installed to date needs much remedial work to eliminate nicks, gouges, etc. 3. Properly install ceiling tile around perimeter of this area. 4. Complete the installation of sprinkler heads in this area. The touchup painting which has been accomplished around the base and around electrical outlets does not match and is unacceptable. 6. Rework drywall around electrical outlets. As a general note level up and plumb all electrical outlets and covers so they are straight through. 8. Replace damaged and stained ceiling tiles in this space. LOBBY AREA - 102 1. Rework drywall around downlights at ceiling. Flush all trim rings tight to ceiling for downlights. Flush sprinkler head caps tight to ceiling. Rework all wood cornice column bases and caps to eliminate dings, nicks, improper jointing, etc. Sand. smooth and repaint. 0 It appears that there is also quite a bit of drywall work which needs to be accomplished on the columns on the first and second level to make them acceptable. These columns need to be rebedded and repainted. The.slot d~.f~user around the perimeter of this space both at the first floor and second floor is of a poor installation and needs to be reworked to make it acceptable. 7. Rework drywall around all slot diffusers typically. 8. Complete the installation of light fixtures in this space. FINANCE DIRECTOR'S OFFICE - 117 1, Replace damaged and stained ceiling tile especially around light fixtures. 2. Rework drywall around electrical outlets. 3.. The touchup painting which has been accomplished around the electrical outlets does not appear to match the adjacent wall surfaces and it appears that'repainting of the entire wall may be necessary, 4, There is alot of variation in the floor and the rolls which are apparent, 5, At the northwest corner ceiling line the perimeter ceiling grid does not abutt securely to the gypsum drywall, 6, At the northeast corner above the window unit the Raco trim track is not set plumb, 7, The Raco trim track along the south wall is marred in numerous areas and needs to be repaired. Also all joints need to be abutted tightly together, 8. All sprinkler heads need to be flushed with ceiling. PROGRAMMER - 116 1, The jointing in the vinyl base needs to be reworked to create tight joints, 2, Rework drywall around electrical outlets, 3, Clean all paint from electrical outlets, 4. Complete the installation of sprinkler head trim plates, 5. Close gap between perimeter ceiling grid and drywall, 6, Properly align aluminum window trim at joints particularly at northwest window head, 7. Replace the two pieces of window glass in the west window unit due to scratches and numerous pinholes in the tinted coating surface, 8, Replace window glass in the northeast window unit due to scratches, 9, Replace window glass in northwest unit because of poor film coating. A final punch list will be prepared on all glazing separately, NORTH AREA OF COMPUTER ROOM - 115 1. Properly install vinyl base so no waves exist. 2. Replace damaged glazing in this window unit. 3. Rework drywall at radius above windows. This is a typical note. At all window units the drywall work is unacceptable as the radius is not arched properly. 4. Remove paint from vinyl base. 5. Replace damaged ceiling tile. 6. Flush up sprinkler heads with ceiling tile. 7. Complete the installation of vinyl base on the north side of the entry door where it was cut too short. 8. Clean and repair all defects in the entry door and complete the installation of all hardware and trim. 9. Rework drywall around all electrical outlet boxes. 10. Seal gap between drywall and perimeter ceiling grid typically. SOUTH PORTION OF COMPUTER ROOM - 115 1. Repaint drywall. 2. Properly install vinyl base. 3. There are numerous marks on drywall around vinyl base. 4. The vinyl base does not sit flush with floor. 5. The vinyl floor tile in this area has been scratched in'numerous areas and it appears that some removal may be necessary to make this space acceptable. 6. The southmost wall appears to be out of align and not plumb. 7. Replace all damaged ceiling tile. 8. Complete the installation of-ail sprinkler trim. 9. A thorough cleanup of this area will be required. 10. Per Mr. Ed Powell, the City Engineer for the City of Coppell, the General Contractor had never gotten with the City personnel to discuss the locations of and electrical requirements for their computer system. This needs to be accomplished as soon as possible so as not to delay the Owner's move into this project. 11. As a typica'! note align and level all electrical light switches and outlets. 12. TouchUp all dings and nicks in the Raco door system, CORRIDOR - 111 Rework carpet. Rework drywall around water fountain enclosure. Ail walls in this corridor need to be repainted to make them acceptable as there are numerous scuffs and abrasions to the surface. Replace all damaged ceiling tile. Seal gap between perimeter grid and drywall. Clean all mud from ceiling grid. 7. Clean all doors. Be Complete the installation of vinyl base. Rework all carpet seaming and also carpet where it abutts wall a rea. 10. Near area of Door 27 rework ceiling grid. 11. 12. 13. 14. Set sprinkler heads flush with ceiling. Properly adjust threshold and properly terminate carpet at Door 6. This carpet is stained in numerous areas and will need to be cleaned per manufacturers instructions. ELECTRICAL ROOM - 112 A thorough cleanup of this area is required. Seal all penetrations through drywall. Clean all electrical panels and repaint galvanized boxes. 5. 6. 7. 9. 10. Seal concrete floor. Tape, bed and paint behind transformer location. Repair holes in ceiling. Verify sprinkler head location in this room and set sprinkler head flush with ceiling. At the door head the gypsum drywall return is approximately one inch too high and needs to be redone. Complete the.installation of vinyl, base. Rework, sand smooth and repaint all wood trim around the countertop area. 16. There are numerous scratches in the formica counter surface. As a typical note the formica countertops in general throughout this project need to be cleaned and reinspected prior to acceptance. CONFERENCE ROOM --108 1. The threshold at Door 29 is incorrect. It is to be a sloping wood threshold at Door 29,21on§ east wall painting will be required at the cornice trim where rework has occurred at wood joints. 2. Rework threshold at double exit doors. Architect to review and come up with an alternate detail for this threshold condition between the exterior and wood flooring. 3. Touchup ceiling where marks have occurred and rework around air conditioning slot diffusers. 4. Clean drywall mud from trim around 2 x 4 florescent fixtures. 5. Rework joints at wood base to eliminate obvious jointing. 6. It appears there is a low spot in the wood flooring at the north west corner. 7. Rework wood flooring around door frame 31. 8. Rework drywall around electrical outlets. 9. Rework and sand smooth and repaint bifold doors at closet. 10. Repaint interior of closet. 11. Repaint ceiling. 12. Rework drywall around electrical outlets. KITCHEN - 109 1. A thorough cleanup of this area is required. 2. Check the mounting height of the electrical outlets in this room. 3. The countertop has been mounted at 36 1/2". The City Inspector has advised that a charcoal filter will be required for the venting of the stove. 5. Repaint all cabinets in this room. 6. Clean and seal all floor tile. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. Properly install pantry doors and install interior KV brackets. Remove paint from all hardware. Complete the installation of sprinkler heads. A thorough cleaning of this area is required prior to punch. e The General Contractor should note that once again the water closets have been mislocated and are not centered within the toilet stalls.. For the balance of this area a final punch will be prepared once the General Contractor has completed the majority of his own items and this area to date is not ready for substantial completion. MECHANICAL ROOM - 178 1. The same notes apply tothis room as all other mechanical rooms. All panels need to be labeled, all penetrations through the wall need to be sealed and automatic door bottom needs to be installed for sound control. A thorough cleaning of this area is required. 2. The gypsum drywall adjacent to the main entry door is severely damaged and this drywall needs to be removed and replaced. This area too is not ready for final punch. The.General Contractor should proceed with remedial action and advise the Architect as to when he will be ready for this area to be once again viewed. POLICE LOBBY AREA - 140 1. The formica countertops shows signs of being nicked and marred and is chipped in front of the pay window unit. All brass needs to be shined and polished and lacquer treated. 7. Replace damaged ceiling grid and align all ceiling grid. 11. Seal gap and properly level over Door area 52. PHONE AREA 130 Public telephones have yet to be installed. Properly trim out around electric water cooler. Rework drywall around base and around wooden door frame and repaint. The splicing of casing trim at face of doorframe is unacceptable. There are numerous dings and nicks in the wood doorframe. Typically noted, the woodwork on this project needs much remedial work. The carpet seaming needs to be reworked in this area. A thorough cleaning of this space is required. 2. At the downlight trim rings flush tight to ceiling. 3. Properly install parabolic lens and trim at light trough over vanity and water closets. 4. It appears that the light trough has been installed incorrectly and is not level in the north/south direction over the vanity a rea. 5. Clean all formica so a final inspection can be made and approvals given. 6. The jointing in the wallcovering needs to be reworked to eliminate the obvious seams. The flush valves for all water closets in urinals are loose and need to be tightened. There are numerous scratches and dings in the toilet partition which need to be corrected prior to acceptance. This is a typical note. Complete the installation of sprinklerheads and covers. At the ceiling area prior to the repainting process fill all cracks and patch ceiling as required. Complete the installation of door hardware. This room is not ready for substantial completion at this time. A repuncb will be accomplished at a later date. WOMEN'S RESTROOM - 127 1. Complete the installation of ceiling tile. 2. Flush out trim rings around downlights with ceiling. 3. A thorough cleaning of this restroom is required before final acceptance. 4. As a typical note, in all restrooms where the chrome parabolic diffusers, are in use, all need to be cleaned and shined prior to acceptance by the Owner. Once again, this is a typical note. 5. In the handicapPed toilet stall the handicapped water closet has been installed at an incorrect location and will need to be relocated. 6. As a typical note, the General Contractor shall verify that the grab bars located in all handicapped stalls are set per plans and handicapped code. There-is a variation from 32" to 34" which~ has been noted in individual bathrooms. 7. Clean all grout joints in tile on wet wall. e Once again the toilet partitions are scratched and marred and remedial action will need 'to be taken by the General Contractor to make these acceptable. 9. Caulk joint between water closet and wet walls'typically. 10. Complete the installation of wallcovering under vanity. 11. A thorough cleaning is required. 2. Touchup painting will be required of all cabinets. The electrical outlets which have been installed around the countertop are at an~,in:orrect elevation and need to be redone. 0 The patching of the CMU around the electrical outlets above cabinet is presently unacceptable. It appears that this should not have been inset but should have been flush with this wall. 7. Replace damaged ceiling tile. NORTH AREA OF COURT MULTI-PURPOSE - 165 1. At the projection screen block out properly frame this area in. What the General Contractor has done so far is unacceptable. As a typical note, the splicing in of 1/4" wide carpet pieces into this area is not an acceptable solution to resolving the problem where the carpeting was miscut at the wall location. The vinyl base which has been marred needs--tobe replaced. - 10. This room needs a repunch once the General ContractOr completes remedial actions. SOUTH COURT MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM - 165 1. Rework drywall around electrical outlets and level and plumb all outlets and switches. 5. At west wall patch, sand smooth and repaint the paneled pay windows and all wood trim. Complete the installation of ceiling tile. Rework arch over pay window. It appears that there are numerous scratches and marks in the formica countertop. This needs to be cleaned thoroughly and prepared for a final inspection. 9. Repaint the cabinetry along the west wall. 10. The door from this room to the main lobby area is missing. 11. Seal joint between perimeter ceiling grid and drywall typically. 12. Provide outlet cover at floor. 13. There are. numerous stains in the carpet which need to be removed prior to final acceptance. 14. This is another area which will be repunched once the General Contractor makes significant progress on repairs. REPORTING AREA - 160 Adjust threshold at Door 12. The touchup painting which has been accomplished upon the ceiling and walls does not appear to match and it appears that a complete painting of these areas will be required. The flush valves for the water closets are not secured properly. Rework drywall around napkin disposal units and repaint this wall after repairs are made to the defects. Remove paint from toilet partition and repair all scratching and chips. Seal trim around feminine napkin dispenser. Along north wall clean all excess caulking from CMU block.
