Dear Mr. Jordan,
I received the report you faxed me on April 20, 2000 from Joiner Technology Group outlining
their findings with regard to the noise generated from the Library's HVAC equipment
You indicated that you would personally retain Joiner Technology Group's services based on
their attached "Scope of Efforts" (items 1-5) in order for the City to better evaluate the estimated
costs associated with mitigating the HVAC equipment noise.
I've discussed this issue with the City Manager's office. It is still the City' of Coppell's position
that good faith modifications have already been made by the City to lessen the noise at your
property. While the City will take into consideration any findings and cost estimates for
construction presented by the Joiner Iechnology Group's study, please understand that it is in no
way committing to funding any additional improvements.
