(KHA) is in receipt of a comment letter prepared by Mr. Keith Marvin, P.E. with the City of Coppell dated August 9, 2013 pertaining to the KHA submitted Hackberry Road Improvement plans, submitted July 19,2013. In association with this response letter, KHA has revised the construction documents as noted. KHA has outlined below,the comments raised by Mr. Keith Marvin, and responding in kind: C-001 Comment Revise title to "Tax 2013A Chartwell Drive/Hackberry Road Improvements." Response So noted. C-002 Comment Revise KHA General Construction Notes. Response So noted. C-003 Comment Remove"City of Coppell General Notes". Comment A crosswalk and pedestrian ramps need to be added across Chartwell Drive. Use the City of Coppell pattern and color for an 8'band stamped crosswalk. Response So noted. Comment Add a radius and lane width dimension. Response So noted. C-101 Comment On the point tables,note whether the elevations are top of curb elevations or gutter elevations. Comment There is no defined speed in the Code for Chartwell or Hackberry, therefore,30 mph is the legal speed. Response Speed limit sign is being relocated transversely from its current location. Comment Add speed reducing taper markings in the center lane of Chartwell Drive to the east of the median nose. Response So noted. Comment Add left turn arrows to the center lane of Chartwell Drive.
