Dear Mr. O'Hanlon:
This letter is in response to a request concerning the availability of utilities to the property located south
of Riverchase Drive and east of MacArthur Blvd. The facilities are located as follows:
Water-There is currently a 12"water line in the north right-of-way of Riverchase Drive that runs
from MacArthur Blvd. and extends to Sandy Lake Road.
Sanitary Sewer-There is an 8"sanitary sewer line in the south right-of-way of Riverchase
Boulevard running east from MacArthur Blvd. that increases in size to a 10". This line meets a
sanitary sewer line along the same alignment running south from Sandy Lake Road that
increases in size from a 10"to a 12"and 15". A 15"line runs along the south right-of-way of
Riverchase Boulevard to the south and connects to an existing 33"Trinity River Authority sewer
line.
The sanitary sewer system for the area discharges into the Trinity River Authority's 33" interceptor
which exists on the north side of Belt Line Road and is utilized by the City of Coppell per agreements
with the Trinity River Authority. This 33" line handles a large drainage basin contained within the City
of Coppell.
As always, in the development of your property the engineer should determine whether the utilities
available to this site are adequate to service this site or if additional pumping and/or storage facilities are
necessary for fire protection.
