Subject:Southern Belle Construction
I want to thank those of you that attended our informational meeting on the reconstruction of Southern Belle Drive last
week. This is an important project in the City’s ongoing effort to maintain and replace our city infrastructure.

The contractor intends to begin construction as early as Thursday, October 10. This will require a shutdown of half the
roadway. Traffic will be restricted to one-way northbound from Plantation Drive to River Road. Parking will not be
permitted on the remaining portion of the roadway. This closure is expected to last for the duration of the project. The
anticipated completion date is Late February of 2014.
We understand that this is an inconvenience to all those that use this street, and we will make every effort to minimize
the impact to those of you most affected by this construction. Should you have any questions during this project please
