Results
On August I I. 1994, a representative of GEE Consullanta, Inc. was present at thc above referenced project to perform thc following
services:
1. Thc steel erector continues to erect radinsed trusses from grid linc *A" to
2. Wc were unable to find a connection detail for the bottom tubular chord ends to stub columns at line 'A*.
3. Thc roof metal deck was inspected from linc 'C* to · Wc marked up several places with red spray paint where puddle we[ds had been omitted.
· At section of roof deck approximately 25 feet long at thc no~hwest corner along line "J' was tbund to span only two roof
supports. Deck manufacturer recommends that deck ~ould span over a minimum of 3 roof supports.
· A number of reef joist top chords have burnt holes due to excessive welding heat input. We request an approved fix from joist
manufacturer.
4. Project drawings show bolts to be installed with the bolt head facing down along line "C' and at ent~' canopy. Majority of these
bolts were installed inverted.
5. Wc request engineering review of linc 'C" truss, seat connections to clarify type of joint required.
6. Wc noted that a number of lajune 'A325" bolts connections north of line 'C'. We recommended replacing these bolts. Wc request
engineering review.
Our inspection was performed in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
