Results
On July 29, 1994, a representative of GEE Consultants, Inc. was present at the above referenced fabrication
plant to perform visual inspection of fabricated structural steel.
1. Galvanized trusses/~28Tl's which had gutter openings cut through the side of the tube chord were found to
be erroneous. Evidently the shop drawings had been detailed in error. These trusses have now been
repaired with the gutter opening vertically cut through the tubular chord. We marked up one area for
additional welding.
2. The repaired area on tress has been coated with a spray applied galvanizing compound produced by "Brite
Products" - (Bdt Zinc).
3. Tubular columns are being fabricated - piece mark 25C3's, 25C1, 24C3's.
4. Beams and radiused beams being fabricated are 40B2, 40B3, 40BI, 38B2, 34B8.
5. Radiused channels are in various stages of fabrication.
6. Attached is a shipping list dated 7-29-94.
7. Shop welds were visually examined for size and appearance.
In general welding and workmanship is progressing in a satisfactory manor. Our inspection was performed m
accordance with project drawings and specifications.
