John,
I just wanted to check on the status of the scope and fee amendment, and to see if you have any questions. We are
happy to proceed with the revised wall option (all wall), if in fact that decision has been made. Please let us know if
Niraj or myself can assist in any way. Thanks

Subject: Andy Brown Ph2 - Revised Cost Opinion & Contract Amendment 1
John,
As discussed in our 60% review meeting the other day, attached is a revised cost opinion for building wall around the
entire lake. Also attached is a contract amendment for the additional scope of work that would be required. The 13.7%
fee increase correlates closely with the 16% of additional project length. Two items of note: The amendment does take
into account the remaining survey budget, and the amendment does not include any additional time for redesigning
Segment’s 2 and 3.
I have provided the amendment in order to expedite the remaining design work. If upon your review of the revised cost
opinion the City decides to stick with the current design and project limits, please disregard the amendment. Thanks for
meeting with us and have a great weekend. Let me know if you have any questions or require additional information.
