It is recommended all items be addressed to the Citys satisfaction prior to JDK receiving final acceptance and/or payment. All restored areas shall have a smooth finished grade. Much of the sod throughout the project has been poorly placed, leaving large gaps and uneven ground. At a minimum, the gaps shall be filled and the sod rolled. Some areas may require complete sod replacement to properly smooth the finished grade. 2. Remove and replace all sod that did not take root and grow. 3. The block wall shall be backfilled such that the top course of block is not visible at any point. West bank - Backfill with topsoil along the trail edge (water side) to create a smooth transition between the trail and the sloped bank. Water the fil through the topsoil (Fig. 9). 14. Fishing Pier Rail reconstruct center post on either side of rectangular platform to all hinge to move freely. The current center posts create a rigid jat the hinge (Fig 10). As such, the rail absorbs a great deal of stress at this joint that will like in premature failure of the deck frame, connection bolts, and/or rail.
