Results
On July 21, 1994, a representative of GEE Consultants, Inc. was present at the above referenced
project to perform the following services:
1. At this time the north portion of the building has been erected from grid-lines C to J and from
line gl to #13.-
2. Roof joist and joist girder seats are being welded ia place. The metal deck is now being installed
and puddle welded inplace. '"'
3. Pipe column #C31 at grid J6 has two upper wing plates welded on the wrong side. The~se will be
removed and rewelded on the correct sides.
4. Perimeter deck angle at line J between line #12 and #13 had incorrect spacing of stitch welds.
The welds were at approximately 36" centers, drawing details call tbr 3" of weld 12" on center.
5. We requested the welders qualifications but they were not present at this time.
6. The above items were brought to the attention of the erection foremen as well as the job
superintendent.
