ARCHITECT'S FIELD REPORT AIA I)OCUMI:'NF G711 O~ER A ,ITECT CONSULTANT FIELD Oily of.Goppell - O'Brien O'Brien Call~ ay Wayne Ginn, Inc. PROJECT: CONTRACT: Coppell Town Center General Construction FIELD REPORT NO: Nine (9) ARCHITECT'S PROJECT NO: 8457 DATE Jan. 2, 1986 TIME EST. % OF COMPLETION WEATHER Partly Cloudy TEMP. RANGE 50° 's CONFORMANCE WITH SCHEDULE (+, -) WORK IN PROGRESS PRESENT AT SITE 1. Most of the metal stud work has been completed on t'he first floor and is being continued on the second floor. The masonry is contuing around the first floor of the building. 2. ..... Mos~e_tal ducI w~o~k__for the first floor has been ~u~ ~- and second al_ong quite well. 3. Proiect howevever, does appear tO be behind schedule. Joist at the second floor level adjacent to the monumental stair, need to be looked at by the Structural Engineer. Their seats don't appear to be in very good shape. They are buckling in some areas, Could be this is no problem, but David 'Mitchell of Techni-Structures might need to look at this. The second floor level south of the open area in the Mayor's office is quite un-level, and probably will need a topping to level it out. 4. Holes at the eastern most stairwell for the fire stair where the support framing for the landing penetrates the CMU wall should be patched with CMU and mortar to maintain a separation. 5. The Architect needs to check the dimensions at the north and south wing pro~ections where the center line of steel is 2' 11" to verify the the corners fitting properly. Before any drywall goes up the masonry needs to be sealed up to the roof deck or floor deck to seal off the detention area from the remainder of the building. 6. Masonry work seems to be behind schedule, and would be 50% complete. The wo~d roof sheathing is almost complete and they will begin roofing with the mineral shingles as soon as that is completed. 7. The metal deck being installed in the roof has a few rough spots that need to be taken care of.
