Inc. 5614 Dyer Street Dallas, Texas 75206 Re: Village Parkway Pump Station Project # WA 93-02A Dear Mr. Daigre: This letter is written in response to the problems with the new pumps and with the SCADA System at the Village Parkway Pump Station. These issues make it very difficult to operate the system with any level of confidence. As we move into the high water usage period of the year, it's important that these issues be addressed so that the pump station is operating as designed and that the SCADA System is providing valid information. Ted Dutt has provided me information on the items that are inoperable. His list includes: 1. Booster Pump Button. 2. Pump #6 wanting to shutdown at 40 feet. 3. Timing and packing on Pumps #5 & #6. 4. The various flows on some of the charts on the SCADA System are not accurate. Those include flows leaving the lift stations and the flows leaving the Village Parkway Pump Station. Those flows do not correlate to the incoming flows or the City of Dallas flows. To provide monthly reports the City of Coppell needs the flow information to be accurate and valid. 5. Computer/r2 provided for the Teledak System is inoperable, with a hard drive problem. 6. Eye Wash valve is broken. 7. The panel lights on Pumps #5 & #6. 8. The spare drive for the elevation chart needs to be rebuilt and reinstailed. 9. The old sensor needs to be installed as the primary, with the new sensor as the baclatp at Sandy Lake Lift Station. These issues need to be addressed as soon as possible. Please contact Ted Dutt at (972)304-3545 as to the date and time of repairs. Zenneth~2Y'M.F~~i~, P.E.
