Results
On this date a representative of GEE Consultants, Inc. was present at the above referenced
project to perform a visual inspection of welded embeds.
· On arrival at job site the project drawings and specifications were reviewed. We then
proceeded to visually examine and test the 21 embeds piece mark #lA3 which are
5x3xaA'' angles 8" long with an 18" #3 rebar and two 2 aA "x5" long shear stud connectors
welded in place.
· The welds were visually examined for size and appearance on each piece and were found
to be satisfactory. In addition the shear stud connectors were tested by random striking
with a hammer and were found to be satisfactory.
Our inspection was performed in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
