Keith,
Per our phone call, here are a few thoughts that may help scope the testing.
Structural backfill should be free draining.
Structural backfill should have some bonding strength (don’t get too dry or too lean)…even 500 or 1000 psi
should be sufficient.
The specs call for one cylinder every 100 lf of wall, for each lift (this frequency is intended to have one test per
truck load approximately).
Creating a solid footing is key.
