The city of Coppell Engineering Department will permit and inspect the work within the City Right of Way. This includes
the water tap, bore, and any other items within our ROW. The contractor will be responsible for the 4% inspection fee,
the cost of the meter, and a 2 year 50% maintenance bond. All work will be performed by the contractor.
Check with the city Building Inspections Department for any other permits that may be required. They can be reached

Hi Kevin,
I am contacting you to ask some questions on the Tx DOT job that is going on there. It say that there is a 4%
charge on the bore, is that charge just for the landscaping? Also what is the fee to register a licensed irrigator and a
backflow assembly tester and what is the charge for the backflow test? If you could answer these I would really
appreciate it thank you
