Keith,
We are getting close to bidding out the 2nd irrigation well at wagon wheel park. I need some in-put from you or public
works regarding the second question of this email, dealing with capping the water line.

John,
I am starting to put all the final documents together and should have
them available by Wednesday for your review. I received a quote from
MPS for a radio transmission setup on controllers. I would assume that Coppell would rather MPS do the work on that
since they manage the
current system. In that case it is probably best just to show that
work as "by others" in the plans and specifications. If not, then I can basically specify this type of system and let the
general contractor bid on it. (See attached quote).
Second, you are currently supplementing the wet well with a city water
supply line. If I remember correctly, this well is to take over for
that supply. If so, the best thing to do here is disconnect the city
supply line and cap it off. We then could connect the proposed
irrigation line to the old city supply line as it goes into the wet
well. This will make things much simpler and cheaper on the
connection. The question is whether you want us to cap the city supply
line off back at the last fire hydrant, or cap it at the pump house and add another FH, or blow off valve. (See
Attachments).
