As requested, a representative of Alliance Geotechnical Group, went to the project site for rebar inspection.
Drawings Utilized: Teague Nall and Perkins Prints Sheet 83, Sheet IGTS
Locations /Item Inspected: As shown on Sheet 83
Discrepancies /Comments:
A visual inspection was performed on bridge slab layout phase 1.
1.) 60 grade epoxy coated rebar used. Coated wire used for tie wire.
2.) Spacing of rebar for T bars comply after minor repairs made.
3.) Spacing of #5 rebar (A Bars) comply after minor repairs made.
4.) U bars at rail comply for size and spacing.
5.) Placement at ends (3') comply per sheet IGTS.
6.) Placement and spacing over bents comply.
7.) Clear cover of at least 2" maintained.
