Dear Vickie:
I was asked by the Baldwin Insurance Agen'cy to:.. provide your office with a status on this
particular claim.
A demand letter to indemnify .North Texas Municipal Construction Company for this claim was
sent to GTE Team Controls on July.22 1997,:'."and to date we have not received a response
from them.
Subsequently i assigned this matter to Rimkus Engineering Corporation to examine and
inspect the SCADA equipment at the Village Parkway Pump Station which was accomplished.
It was their conclusion that Tearn:Co~'t'~!iS"hai~:i:':~ssumed responsibility for the damages and
was in the process of coordinating an-efffitt;to 'r~'S~jve the problem,
Further, the problem that existed was. not 'the.:: responsibility of North Texas Municipal
Construction Company, as the selection. 'of' the systems integrator was at the direction of the
City of Coppell as covered in the V liege Parkway. Pump Station Project Change Order Number
Two. ·
It would appear, that Team Controls should handle':this claim unfit conclusion as the liability in
this matter would rest with them.
