I worked on the summary of the fees. See if this is clear enough. I’m not sure if you wanted approval for the full
permitting fee, or to leave the applications for a later request.
Environmental Permitting with the Corps of Engineers for the lowering of North Lake to Elevation 490.
-Phase I – preparation of initial documentation and coordination with US Corps of Engineers, LS of $11,700. This will
determine what level of permit, if any, is needed.
-Phase II – develop full application for 404 permit for the project, if needed. This will be for a LS of $14,200 for
Nationwide Permit and $48,200 for Letter of Permission.
-Additional studies, if required by the Corps or the federal agencies after submittal of the application, will be an
additional service.
Final Design of Improvements for the lowering of North Lake to Elevation 490.
-Geotechnical Analysis, Final Design, and Bid phase services for a lump sum of $185,100.
-Estimated cost of the improvements is $2.2 million
-Construction Phase services will be an additional service.

We have $12,900 left that won’t be billed from the study phase, so if you prefer, the design can be done as a contract
modification for $172,200.
Does this get you what you need for now? I know you need more complete explanation on the scope item #6 for the
environmental scope.
You were going to send me the standard contract form so that I could insert our scope and compensation into it. Again
we can do that as a new contract or a contract modification, which ever you prefer.
Thanks
