Show the proposed signal heads. How many trucks do we anticipate to operate per day/at a time and total volume per day at the site? Will there be a chance there is 1 truck leaving at the same time 1 is trying to turn in? If so, the drive approach may not be wide enough to accommodate the necessary turning movement. Add a sign to the mast arm for southbound no left. Provide a sign for new leg to distinguish left turn only. Provide a sign near the stop bar indicating no right turns. Square up the northern radius to restrict the right turning movement. What will you be doing in terms of erosion control? An all-weather surface will still allow mud to be trucked into the street. Also, a standard construction entrance won’t hold up over the course of 18 months. Consider using a more permanent solution. Please look into franchise utility conflicts before construction. 1 Ken, Mike & Keith, please chime in if you have anything to add or delete. Thank You, George S. Marshall, P.E. Per our conversation this morning we will show timber pole location, span wire, two 3-section heads, a detection camera and a 7conductor cable going through existing conduit on the driveway plans.
