HV) project manager, Aaron Pulpaneck, arrived on -site at gam at the request of Fred Wolfes from Pavecon Construction to
visually inspect subgrade. Upon arrival our representative met with Derek Thomas with the City of Coppell. Derek and our
representative inspected the trenches between Station 38+00 and Station 41+00 in the West bound lane of Sandy Lake Road.
The trenches appeared to be uncompacted; however, they were excavated to a depth that removed all unstable subgrade
(approximately 4 feet). Our representative spoke with Derek Thomas and he informed us that the city did not want the
contractor to place heavy compaction equipment in the trenches and run the risk of breaking the water pipe below. He asked
our representative to only verify that the trenches were excavated to a depth that removed all unstable subgrade. Our
representative left the site at 9.45am after speaking with Derek about the observations.
