Dear Sheri:
As you know, on March 18 bids were received for the renovation of the t~rst floor of
Coppell Town Center. The apparent low blddcr is Hisaw & Associates with their bid
of $288,800.00 followed by Ratcliff Constructors, Inc. and Norsk Construction, Inc.
with bids of $294,491.00 and $297,700.00 respectively.
We have reviewed the references of these bidders and of those that we contacted
regarding Hisaw & Associates, both Owners and Architects were very positive and
stated that they would work with Hlsaw & Associates again. In fact, we did not receive
any negative comments.
Hisaw & Associates have twenty years of experience in commercial construction. They
have completed numerous projects for Richardson lSD and C}reenhill School in Dallas
as well as twenty five-Furr's Cafeterias. The references we spoke with stated that Hisaw
& Associates work very woll with owners without disrupting the day to day operations
of the owner and each project they worked on with Hisaw & Assoc. was on time and in
budget.
Due to this response, PhilLips Swager Associates (PSA) recommends awarding the
· contract for the renovation of Coppell Town Center to Hisaw & Associates for their
stated base bid amount of $288,g00.00.
