HVJ technician, Brandon Lowrance, arrived on site at 10:45am at the request of Fred Wolfes from Pavecon Construction to
visually inspect the subgrade and obtain CTB samples for compressive strength testing. Two trenches were inspected in the
West bound lane of Sandy Lake Road at STA 4 +00, 8 +25, 15 +75, 18 +00. A sample of CTB was obtained from a stockpile at
STA 16 +00. All trenches appeared to be uncompacted, however they were excavated to a depth that removed all unstable
subgrade. Technician left the job site at 11:30am.
