MEMORANDUM NO. 4
Re: Cop~on Phase I~
Those in Atten~'I,7.c'~
Sheri Moino City of Coppell
Lee Stone City of Coppell
Mr. Ken Grifftn City of Coppell
Jerry Cluck Hisaw & Associates
Bill Morgan Hisaw & Associates
Representative from Sargent
Representative from ACS
Geoff Spaete Phillips Swager Associates (PSA)
Purpose: Coppell Town Center Phase II Renovation -Progress Meeting
3/7 ACS has not provided drop locations for data connections. Rick Moore is to review
drawings and return to Hisaw & Associates.
3/8 PSA has sent an RFP to Hisaw & Associates for demolition and installation of the wall at
Corridor #165 and I.S. Manager #162.
New Business:
4/1 Bill Morgan gave PSA the subcontractor list plus the submittals list. Glazing for the
Council Chambers were added to the submittal list.
4/2 Shed Moino gave PSA the attached record of conversations with Hisaw & Associates.
4/3 Jerry Cluck pointed out that there are plumbing risers located in the chase where Room
#126 is to be located. According to his plumber these lines cannot be removed. This
would prevent Door 126 from being installed as shown on the plans. After inspection of
this area with Bill Morgan, it was found that one of the risers is already capped off just
above the ceiling. But the other line appears to be in use by the new sink on the second
floor. Jerry is to F~nd out if that line can be rer6uted to Break #116 and the line be
removed at the door location.
ACTION: Hisaw & Associates.
4/4 Sheri Moino pointed out that she noticed earlier that Door #112 was not installed per
Addendum #1. She notified Jerry Cluck and he made the changes, however'the glass that
was to be the side lite of the door will not fit in the space provided. Bill Morgan said that
the side lite could be set in the adjacent wall where the door was originally placed. Sheri
will get with the person who will occupy that office and let PSA know if they want the
glass there.
ACTION: City of Coppell.
4/5 Room 118 - The north wall was moved out 1' - 0" still providing a 5' - 0" corridor at
Corridor//105. Jerry also noted that the columns in Corridor #119 protrude further from
the wall than what PSA drew on the plan.
4/6 The door frame and sidelite separating Corridor//105 and Waiting//111 were removed but
the glass was broken. Hisaw to replace glass and install as indicated in Addendum//1 at
Door//154.
ACTION: Hisaw & Associates.
4/7 Doors R123 and R124 are drawn in the wrong location on PSA's plans. They are actually
located toward the southern wall of each room they serve. City of Coppell prefers this
location but wants the light switch located on latch side of the door. The light switches
will have to be moved.
ACTION: Itisaw & Associates.
4/8 The demolition of the jail is supposed to begin April 15, 1997. Once this is done, Jerry
can lay out the new wall locations of the HR Office to see if Door//126 will fit at the
location of the pipe chase.
The above summation is our interpretation of the items discussed and decisions reached at the
above referenced meeting. Any persons desiring to add to or revise the notes are requested to put
their comments in writing to the Architect within 10 days, otherwise the above will stand as
written.
Sincerely,
PHILLIP~~
