Village Parkway Pump Station Additions
Dear Mr. Daigre:
It now appears the SCADA portion of your contract with the City of Coppell is nearing completion and that
Pumps Number 5 and 6 are operating in a reliable manner. In your letter dated August 13, 1997, you state
that you have completed the punch list items you feel is within the scope of the contract. However, there still
remain a few punch list items either incomplete or un-resolved.
As we discussed recently, we have scheduled a meeting with you, Ken Griffin and myself for 10:00 am,
Tuesday, September 2, 1997, here in my office. No other parties are expected to be involved in this meeting.
The expected discussion items for this meeting are:
1. Unresolved punch list items
2. Liquidated damages (if any)
3. Damages to the City's Deforest Lift Station, cost of restoration and equitable remedy to the City.
4. The closing of this contract
It is our intention to reach agreement on these items at this meeting. If you have other issues you believe need
to be discussed at this time, please let me know as soon as possible so that we and the City can be prepared to
reach closure.
In your letter dated August 12, 1997, you state you have not received original, fully executed Change Order
Numbers 2, 4 and 5. We have reviewed our files and found that we have forwarded to your office fully
executed Change Order Numbers 1 through 5. Nonetheless, we are happy to provide you with copies of not
only the all the Change Orders to this contract, but the transmittal letters also. In addition, we are providing
you with a change order summary page we keep in our files that tracts the change orders, contact amount and
revised completion date on this project.

These copies indicate the change orders were in fact executed by both parties. The work identified in the
change orders has been completed (or near completed) and accordingly the City has paid you for the work
less allowable retainage. We hope this clears up any outstanding issues you have with the change orders,
revised contact amount or revised contact completion date. As always, we are glad to provide you with any
information you may find missing from your files.
