As discussed yesterday, we would like to get started on the North Lake Project. We are fine with a NTP date of 2-24-14.
We will proceed with construction of all improvements, with the Lake at its current level. We will begin lowering the
lake, when all issues and permitting are resolved.

RE: Modifications to North Lake Dam and Spillway — Project No. DRl l -01.
Dear Mr. Suarez:
On January 21, 2014 your firm was issued a Notice to Proceed on the referenced project,
with a commencement date of January 31, 2014. Due to complications that arose prior to
your commencing work, we mutually agreed to hold off on beginning the project.
This letter will serve as your official notice to begin work on the referenced project, and will
establish a revised date upon which your project time will begin. In accordance with your
request, your commencement date will be February 24, 2014. Three hundred (300)
Calendar Days were bid on this project for the completion of work. Therefore, if work
begins on February 24, then the calendar days on the project will expire on December 20,
2014.
If you have any questions or need any additional information, please feel free to contact the
Derrick Thomas, Construction Inspector, at 469 -576 -5999.
