The contractor has requested our approval of adding 1” of additional concrete to paving sections in lieu of lime
stabilization at all paving locations (which the geotech speaks to as acceptable). Does the city have additional
requirements on increasing concrete depth in lieu of lime stabilization, especially in firelanes/trash areas? Or will an
additional 1” be adequate?
