RE: Clean Up of old Fire Station #2 on Moore Road
As you may know, on 7/28/98 City Council approved to award bid for the
renovation of old Fire Station #2 into a Center for the Arts. Staff is in the process of
making final arrangements to begin construction at this location.
There are still some items belonging to your respective departments that need to be
removed from these premises. If you or your staff could identify the items to be
retained, I will coordinate the relocation of those items to an alternate storage
facility. This activity needs to take place during the next few days. Remaining items
can then be hauled off during the construction phase.
