Re: City of Coppell
Village Parkway Pump Station '
Dear Mr. Brancheau:
As we discussed earlier today, the City of Coppell has requested that TU Electric continue to provide the
voltage recording monitor at the Village Parkway Pump Station over this weekend and through next week.
You have explained that the recording monitor has been removed and will not be available until Wednesday,
July 16, 1997.
Currently, the City is experiencing difficulty in maintaining the reliable operation oCthe pumps. We are
unclear if it is an internal equipment problem at the pump station or it is a power supply problem. The
installation of the recording meter during periods of both peak water and electric demand will help the City
answer these unknowns.
As you are aware, the City of Coppell's reliable operation Village Parkway Pump Station is critical to the
health, safety and welfare of the public. As such the City plans to conduct a test of their pumps at 9:00 am
Monday, July 14, 1997 to determine if running certain pump combinations creates problems at the pump
station. The City of Coppell has directed to encourage TU Electric to have a representative present at this test
and have a voltage recording monitor available for use.
If you have any questions or need additional information concerning this project, please do not hesitate to
contact this office or Mr. Matt Cast with the City of Coppell.
