CF-Senior Center-CS 961120 INFORMATION & CUSTOMER SERVICE
MEMORANDUM
DATE: Wednesday 20 November, 1996
TO: Clay Phillips, Deputy City Manager
FROM: Sheri Moino, Facilities Manager~/
RE: Senior Citizens Parking Improvements;
Memo from Dorothy Timmons
This memorandum is to clarify the parking lot improvement project for the
Senior Citizens Center. I am currently working with Matt Cast in Public
Works to provide improvements to the front, existing parking lot at the
Seniors in order to make it ADA compliant. Matt and I discussed
scheduling this work in December, following the renovation project.
Parking lot improvements in the back will take place at a later date (within
the next 12 months). The old City Hall building is still being used for
storage until additional storage space is acquired.
Jim Ragsdill has been working with Public Works and Leisure Services to
consolidate and auction as much surplus property as possible to reduce the
amount of storage space, however the condition of the old City Hall
building is the best for storage until a better location is determined.
Jim Ragsdill is getting cost information for the removal of the water tank
and pump house, but again this project will take some time to accomplish.
Should you need more information, please let me know.

SUBJECT: Removal of pumps house, water tank, and old City hall
This memo is to request your approval for the removal of the above
referenced buildings.
In a recent conversation with Facilities Manager Sheri Moino
concerning the completion of the Senior Center, we also discussed
the paving of the parking lot in the rear of the building. Sheri
indicated that this part of the project would be accomplished
shortly after the first of December.
Due to the short time line, the approval and removal process is of
the utmost importance.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
