SCHEDULE
Bar Constructors, Inc. did not provide an updated schedule this week. Bar Constructors
is behind schedule by approximately one month and one week.

Need to locate RFI No. 9 regarding stair rebar to complete the signature process.

SUBMITTALS
Hank inquired about the final submittal for the venturi meter - must be approved before
installation of the meter. Bar Constructors to submit deliverables related to the Vault
Termination Unit "VTU" to DWU as soon as possible to the job site. Inspection to
prepare detailed inventory on speed memo and deliver to Ron Deloach.

SHUT DOWN
One more shut down to complete this project is required to make the tie in of the new 42
inch pipeline to the existing 36 inch supply line. Contractor requested a delay for the shut
down. Memorial Day Holiday interferes with scheduling the shut down. Coppell begins
water rationing on May 15, 1998. No lawn watering allowed on Wednesdays, so the
required shut down will begin on the first available Wednesday, May 27. Bar
Constructors estimates that the work on this tie in will begin on or around 9 am
Wednesday, May 27, 1998 after the morning load is over for Coppell. Preparation for this
shut down will be coordinated just as on previous shut downs. Coordination includes
passing the hydrostatic testing of the new forty two inch supply line, chlorination and
maintaining water supply to Coppell, Should an alternate date be required, City of
Coppell to inform DWU of their preference date.

5. SAFETY
Bar Constructors made necessary road repairs.

6. IRRIGATION AT VILLAGE PARKWAY PUMP STATION
Bar Constructors capped off the sprinkler system around the new meter vault.

7. RESPONSE TO SPEED MEMOS
Received responses to the speed memos issued on April 16 and 22, 1998.
Action: Resolved
Handrails that were delivered to the job site were rejected. Bar Constructors scheduled
pick up by the manufacturer today.
