As directed, the Leisure Services Department engaged~' the park and
recreation design firm of Schrickel, .Rollins, Inc. to design a Master
Plan for the open space areas of the Town Center Complex. Several
preliminary designs were previously brought before Council and
discussed. Council selected a single design and instructed staff to
research future parking, some specific elementsland their costs
and a reco-..endation of how the in phase~.~!~
This presentation is only a concept:~?
will involve considerable input and di~tion
particular, some of the design elements may reqUire some~modification or
elemination due to their construction cost and the city's budge%
limitations.
The issues brought out at the previous review have been addressed,
likewise the cost of specific elements have been identified. Staff,-?is
seeking Council input and approval to proceed the completion of the
design and how the project will be implemented.
