RE: PARKWAY BOU~ARD IN FRONT OF TOWN CENTER
16 INCH WATER MAIN PLACEMENT/TRAFFIC DETOUR
It came to our attention yesterday, (and there was a Staff coordinating
meeting today), that the Contractor for the 24" Crosstown Water Main
Project will be placing the 16 inch water main along the north side of
Parkway Boulevard. In order to do this in the most efficient and safe
manner possible, the Contractor will keep both directions of traffic on
the south side of the pavement. During this detour, the west bound
traffic will not cross over to the north side pavement, from the existing
cross over to Denton Tap Road.
Given good weather conditions, etc., this traffic switch-over should only
be for two (2) days, Monday and Tuesday, March 6th and 7th.
The project will be barricaded using standard acceptable traffic control
measures.
