RE~ Paintin~ of Coppell gown Centor
A request for proposal is being mailed today for the painting
of selected areas of Coppell Town Center. Attached is a copy ~
of the areas proposed. A decision will be made after the bid //~
opens to determine which areas or if all areas will be painted.
The decision will be made on the basis of available funds.
A mandatory meeting is scheduled for 9:00 AM, Monday, November
28, 1988 for prospective bidders to view the building and to
clarify the areas for proposed painting.
SECTION I - EXTERIOR TRIM
Outside trim including the perimeter trim on the roof
line, metal entry doors and casings, and the "X# designs
on the exterior of the building.
Total Section I including all labor and materials
SECTION II - ENTRY AREA, LOBBY AREA, COUNCIL CHAMBERS
Entry walls and doors, inside facing of the entry windows,
columns by stairs on first floor, window area and walls
by Utility Billing Department, hallway to restrooms and
Coke machine, walls in women's restroom, City Council
Chamber walls, Lobby area walls by elevator, Police Depart-
ment and walls to the Court Department.
Total Section II including all labor and materials
SECTION III - POLICE DEPARTMENT
All walls and selected trim in the following: Report
Room, Criminal Investigations, Entry area including double
entry doors into the Police Department, Environmental
Health and clerical area, Chief's office, Sargeant's office,
Lieutenant's office, Interrogation Room, hallway and inside
of entry door, both jail cells and selected doors, Animal
Control office area/records room including inside of windows
and related trim, Dispatch area including bathroom.
Total Section III including labor and materials
SECTION IV - COURT/PURCHASING/PERSONNEL
All walls, front entry door and window area with related
triminside the Court Department. Proposed walls/trim
for the Purchasing Department and the Personnel Department.
Total Section IV including all labor and materials
SECTION V - KITCHEN AREA, HALLWAY, FINANCE, UTILITY
BILLING, TAX COLLECITONS AND COMMON AREAS
All walls in the following: kitchen conference area,
kitchen sink ara, Accountant's office, Assistant Finance
Director's office, Tax Assessor's/Utility Billing Co-
ordinator's office, finance/tax/utility billing common
area and hallway from computer room to common area.
Total Section V including all labor and materials
SECTION VI - SECOND FLOOR SELECTED AREAS
Columns at top of stairway, elevator entry area including
elevator doors and entry trim, hallway to restrooms,
entry doors to administrative area and Library, two gray
columns in Library, Engineering clerical area and Engineer's
office.
