ATTENTION: Larry Jackson, City Attorney
Dear Larry:
We have discussed with you the desires of the City staff to have
the remaining funds from the Town Center contract, (Howard U.
Freeman, Inc.) released by the Trustees for the Bankruptc~ Court.
We are still holding approximately $32,000.00 in retainage monies
and with several items still remaining to be completed on this
facility, it is important to the City that we be allowed to use
these remaining funds to directly pay Freeman ' s subcontractor
and finish this project before the scheduled December 6, 1986
dedication and open house.
We are therefore requesting that ~ou approach or petition the
trustees to re/ease these remaining funds and allow the City to
complete this project.
