Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 RE: WOODSIDE VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTER 1t0 West Sandy Lake Road, Coppell, Texas Dear Mike: The Ownership of Woodside Village Shopping Center, which is located in Coppell, Texas, continues to have domestic water issues (as conveyed to you in several prior communications from Greenway Realty Services, Inc.). As discussed with you over the past year, a solution needs to be found to eliminate these issues. One of the comments discussed, was that Ownership would consider restructuring and reconfigurating the supplied domestic water to Ownership's property (if financially applicable) and the City of Coppell would waive the tap charges for the new water taps (given the fact that Ownership would have to separate the existing domestic water and fire lines at Ownership's cost which were previously imposed with such charges). Even though Ownership, in its opinion, feels that the City Of Coppell should help financially in remediating the water issue, Ownership wants to move forward on the matter without currently having such assistance. Therefore, Ownership would like to obtain City of Coppell's approval and consent, with its current understanding, to start the remediating process. Ownership has reviewed the water issues with R. H. George and Associates, Inc. (a consulting engineering firm) and has elected to have this engineering consulting firm draw up remediation plans for City of Coppell's review and approval. This consultant is not a civil engineering firm, but has performed work in the City of Coppell on municipal utilities. I would like to get the City of Coppelrs consent to use this consultant (at Ownership's sole cost and expense) for this service. Please let me know in writing at your earliest possible convenience, but not later than Thursday, September 21, 2000 if there is a problem with this request, or I will deem approval absent City of Coppell's written response.
