Re: Coppell Town Center PC#44 revised
Gent lemen:
Please reference our letter of 5-14-86 to the Architect,
O'Brien, O'Brien and Callaway. As you will s~we were asked to price
2 seperate options to correct a problem with the penthouse unit heater.
Option 1 was to rewire the feed to the heater to allow for 5 phase power.
This option was priced at $1556.00. Option 2 was to supply a new heater
and was priced at $758.00, however there, was a 6 week lead time to order
the new heater which was unacceptable. I then instructed Blackmon Electric
to make the wiring changes in option 1, but to keep track of their time
in the hope of reducing the cost for this proposed work.
With this work completed I have revised PC#44 accordingly, ~
am happy to inform you that the cost for this work has been reduced to
$521.00. I will include this amount in a final Change Order for your
approval.

Proposed Change No. 44
Unit Heater Circuit Change
Gentlemen:
Reference is made to your Proposal Request, dated April 25, 1986,
regarding Proposed Change No. 44. Attached is our proposal in the amount of
$1,336.00 for Option 1 or $738.00 for Option 2 for accomplishing this
additional work as outlined.
As a result of this revised work, the contract time to complete this
project must be extended two (2) days for Option 1;~ or two (2) days for Option
2 if unit heater can be found locally, six (6) weeks if unit heater is ordered
from factory; subject to receipt of your signed change order on or before May
20, 1986.
Due to options available, we reserve the right to request additional
contract time and extended overhead due to any delays or interruptions of work
incurred as a result of this proposed change.
This proposed change order only includes items as listed on our
attached breakdown. Any items not listed on our breakdown due to this
proposed change, are not to be considered a part of this proposed change and
are subject to pricing at a later date.
If it is determined that this change as described above involves
extended overhead and other resulting costs, a separate claim for'these items
will be submitted at a later date.
We respectively request your immediate approval and/or directive to
proceed with this changed work.
