Re: Coppell Town Center
Dear Mr. Proctor:
Following the City Council meeting of July 8, 1986 and our
discussion on the jobsite the following morning, I would like to clarify, for
the record, just what our instructions are pertaining to our contract with
the City of Coppell to construct the new town center.
As we understand the situation at present, the architectural firm
of O'Brien, O'Brien, Callaway have relieved themselves of all
responsibilities and duties pertaining to the subject project, while we will
continue working very closely with all of the various city department heads
in an effort to bring this job to a successful completion. We understand
that Mr. Ed Powell will assume the duties formally performed by the
architect.
During the construction phase of the project we have worked very
closely with Mr. Powell and we will certainly continue to do so now. We will
be very happy to assist him in any way possible to help ease this added
burden. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of any help in any area.
Howard U. Freeman and myself particularly are extremely pleased in
the amount of confidence that you have placed in our company and we pledge
