Dear Mr. Griffin:
An inspection of the Village Parkway Pump Station Addition, SCADA System Improvements as covered by
Change Orders No. 2 and 5 to your contract with North Texas Municipal Construction Company, Inc. was
conducted on June 18, 1997, 1997. The purpose of this inspection was to determine the status of the SCADA
System punch list items developed from our May 23, 1997 final inspection. In attendance were:

Mr. Ted Dutt, City of Coppell
Mr. Steve Baker, G.E. Team Controls
Mr. Joe Gibson, G.E. Team Controls

In general, most of the punch list items were found to be corrected or addressed. Again, we Ibund the
SCADA System to appear reliable and ready for service.
Please refer to our letter dated May 27, 1997 for the original punch list items. The following items on the
original punch list were found in need of additional work:
10. 15 additional training hours remain. Training time was scheduled for this Friday at 9:00 am and again
on Wednesday, June 251h.
11. The screen print-out for the EST1 and EST2 Trend has a minor print-out problem with the EST 2 level
legend
12. A print-out of the SCADA System reports was not available at the initial walk though. During this
inspection, Team printed out the reports for the first time. We will review the report format and data

15. Registration and final delivery of sof~vare and hardware to the City has not yet occurred. It is our
understanding from general discussion in the last meeting that this will occur at one of the next training
sessions.
16. The City has not yet received the requested a schedule of value for the software and hardware
components of the system. Steve Baker indicated he will work to get that information to the City.
In addition to the above listed items, G.E. Team Controls provided us with a clarification letter to their
original proposal Dated June 11, 1996. Their letter dated June 18, 1997 is attached and states that the original
proposal included delivery of the new RTU for the proposed elevated storage tank for Coppell to install as the
tank was constructed. We have reviewed there original proposal and concur with this clarification.
We are available to discuss this project further at your convenience.
