City of Coppell Post Office Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Re: Village Parkway Pump Station Addition SCADA System Change Order No. 2 & 5 Dear Mr. Griffin: An inspection of the Village Parkway Pump Station Addition, SCADA System Improvements as covered by Change Orders No. 2 and 5 to your contract with North Texas Municipal Construction Company, Inc. was conducted on June 18, 1997, 1997. The purpose of this inspection was to determine the status of the SCADA System punch list items developed from our May 23, 1997 final inspection. In attendance were: Mr. Matt Cast, City of Coppell Mr. Larry Davis, City of Coppell Mr. Ted Dutt, City of Coppell Mr. Steve Baker, G.E. Team Controls Mr. Joe Gibson, G.E. Team Controls Mr. Gary Hendricks, P.E., Shimek, Jacobs & Finklea In general, most of the punch list items were found to be corrected or addressed. Again, we Ibund the SCADA System to appear reliable and ready for service. Please refer to our letter dated May 27, 1997 for the original punch list items. The following items on the original punch list were found in need of additional work: 10. 15 additional training hours remain. Training time was scheduled for this Friday at 9:00 am and again on Wednesday, June 251h. 11. The screen print-out for the EST1 and EST2 Trend has a minor print-out problem with the EST 2 level legend 12. A print-out of the SCADA System reports was not available at the initial walk though. During this inspection, Team printed out the reports for the first time. We will review the report format and data and provide written comments later. Mr. Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E. ~' ("" City of Coppell June 18, 1997 Page No. 2 15. Registration and final delivery of sof~vare and hardware to the City has not yet occurred. It is our understanding from general discussion in the last meeting that this will occur at one of the next training sessions. 16. The City has not yet received the requested a schedule of value for the software and hardware components of the system. Steve Baker indicated he will work to get that information to the City. In addition to the above listed items, G.E. Team Controls provided us with a clarification letter to their original proposal Dated June 11, 1996. Their letter dated June 18, 1997 is attached and states that the original proposal included delivery of the new RTU for the proposed elevated storage tank for Coppell to install as the tank was constructed. We have reviewed there original proposal and concur with this clarification. We are available to discuss this project further at your convenience.
