up the check on the retaining wall
Please, help me figuring out what is the status on this. My concern is that maybe they already forgot about repairing the

I just spoke with Keith Marvin in our Engineering Dept. and he stated that last week they met with the Engineer that
will be handling that project. The city expects to receive preliminary plans by next week. Within the next month
residents in that area, too include yourself, will be invited to attend a public meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to
let the citizens know what will take place and ask for input from the citizens.
Unfortunately, these projects take longer than expected to commence and complete. We do appreciate your patience.

I was able to get a response from our Project Engineer and he stated that they are currently negotiating an
engineering contract to reconstruct the wall for the entire length of the channel. More than likely it would be several
months before they are able to begin any actual construction work out there.
We appreciate your patience but if you feel you need to speak to the Engineering Department for a better explanation
