Thu, Feb 22, 2001 4:30 PM RE: Coppell Grading Permit Can't we get Mike Glenn to hand-deliver the revised drawings and review the revisions with Mike Martin on Monday so that we can obtain a grading permit sooner? We are burning around $550 per day in interest carry and anything we can do to initiate this project and save that money would be appreciated (Rick Stacy at Stacy Furniture is the only one in the Metroplex that's allowed to burn that kind of dough!). ..... He will only do that after revised civil plans are submitted that satisfactorily address the comments in his Feb. 20th letter. He indicated it would take him 2 days to review and approve the comments related to grading and about 2 weeks to review and approve the remaining items, assuming they are all satisfactorily addressed. He did say he would be willing to issue a grading permit if he is satisfied with the revised plans. From a timing standpoint; Mike Glenn completes the corrections by end of the day on Friday, Feb. 23rd, and Mike Martin receives the plans by 12 Noon Monday, Feb. 26th and is satisfied with them, the earliest he would issue a grading permit on Wednesday, Feb. 28th. The permit for the remaining civl work should follow by Monday, March 12th at the latest. Mike and Ken: We understand that the City Engineering Dept. has limited staff for plan review and if there is anything we can do to help speed the process along please let us know. We are available to meet with you and review each item if you desire. Thanks.
