We’ll go over this with Tiseo in the morning. I think the shot Scott sent you was on the existing pipe along H3. The plans show to remove a portion of that and relay it. I don’t think they’ve done that yet. Keith Marvin, P.E. We could raise the storm drain over the existing water line, providing 1.5’ of separation between the two pipes, while having a minimum of 1.51’ of cover over the storm drain pipe. Per our phone conversation you mentioned the possibility of moving the junction box and extending lateral H-3. This would most likely create two crossings between H-3 and the existing 24” water line. I’m unable to analyze if that is possible as I don’t have shots of the water line near the crossing with H-3. I’ve also included the profile for SD LAT H-3. Per the surveyed shots Scott provided me, it appears they have laid H-3 higher than the plans call for with very little cover. Do you know why they have raised the profile? Please let me know your thoughts on the alternative profile. It appears we can raise the storm drain over the water, while still being able to make the laterals work and not having to change any line sizes. Do you know if they have started on the junction box at STA 4+98? Raising the storm drain downstream would result in raising the junction box several feet. Please call or e-mail me to discuss further. I added an annotation column for clarity. Let me know if you need anything else.
