Hi Keith,
It looks like that quote is pretty high verses other fence people we've talked to. The price should probably be
closer to $35 and $40 a linear foot for a stained 8 foot board on board fence. What do you all think the best way
to proceed is? Can we get other bids outside Tiseo? Can we have that part of the contract removed from
them? Could we be reimbursed if we did it ourselves? Obviously I don't know how your process works, so I'd
love to know how you think best to proceed.

See below from our street contractor. We had $18,876.00 in our contract to remove and relocate the
pipe rail fence. They have billed us for $1,872 for the removal of the fence, leaving $17,004 for the new

fence. At the $47.50/LF quoted below, we could fund approximately 360 linear feet of wood privacy
fence.
Please review these numbers, and let me know your thoughts.

The price to install the wood privacy fence as described below is $47.50 per LF, this price does not
include stain.
We can stain both sides for an additional $7.00 per LF.
If required gates will be priced separately.
Fence is quoted with the following materials and methods
·2-3/8 x .095 x 11 galv. posts set 36” deep in 8-in-dia concrete piers on 8-ft centers
·Pressure-treated pine 2x4x8 rails, four per panel
·Western Red Cedar (WRC) 1x6x8 #2 pickets, board-on-board with ¾” overlap
·WRC 1x4 face trim
·WRC 2x8x16 RGH cap
